Working mum

I had my first shift today at Regency. I started at 4am till 8.30am. It was challenging. So many things to remember. Got a big order at 8.30 so I still done it because it was so big and would help my incentive thing. It is so exciting thinking of the incentives we can achieve. I made a mistake only to later on find out it wasn't that big of a deal and I could have just carried on. Got really busy at one point which made me kinda nervous, haha. Just have to get used to working again. The fact that there are so many different discounts and allowances, makes it so confusing. I feel really bad when I have to ask how to do something, so easy when it is a simple sale. But then that would be boring.

We get different incentives each month to achieve. Like for example I think this month one incentive is sell 18 bottles of Coruba and actually not sure what we would get, maybe a free bottle I think. How cool is that, we will have to buy a liquor cabinet for all the incentives I will be achieving. Didn't feel it was as competitive today as it was last Thursday when we were training on the floor. Ladies were pretty much pushing you out of the way on big sales and pre orders. Not sure that I could ever be that pushy. It is defintely exciting when you get a big sale or pre order.

Anyway, if anyone is reading this they are probably thinking 'yawn' if they have even come this far!! Better go so so so tired. Couldn't sleep last night!!! Went to sleep maybe at 11.30 - 12am only to wake at 2.45am to get ready. Wonder how long it is going to take me to get used to this?

Chicken Pox

My poor son had chicken pox!! Poor Payton. He was totally covered!! He had two weeks off school because he got heaps on his face and I thought it didn't look good him going looking like that. He will be going to school on Monday for sure though. Far out two weeks with the two of them home has been crazy. They get on eachothers nerves 24/7.

Started a job at The Great New Zealand Shop at the airport on Friday. I really liked it, it was so easy and laid back. Unfortunately I may have to give it up because I also got a job at Regency and it pays better, better hours and incentives. Regency are talking about whether it is a conflict of interest. Oops my bad. Oh well, still looking for something else that may work with Regency. We are looking at buying a house which is why I am looking at working. I want night work/early morning, small sacrifice for our future.

Sitting here bored as been clicking away on the internet trying to find something of interest. Nothing. Fritz is with 'the boys' at a hangi. Payton is downstairs with his Nan and TJ is sitting here watching TV(yep it's late alright, just can't get myself off my butt to put them to bed). I can't believe how bored I am.

Aaarrgh, christmas. It is quickly sneaking up on me. I have done no shopping whatsoever. Very organised. Oh well I will be one of those last minute crazy shoppers who ends up with slack pressies cos everything is sold out, haha. No christmas holiday for us this year. I might even be working on christmas day, how lovely. And our anniversary too, great. Oh well I only work 4 -8.30am so plenty of time to do something during the day/evening.

No photos this time too lazy. Catch up later. Bye. Love ya.

Guy fawkes 2006

I took the kids to the Alexandra Park fireworks display. They totally enjoyed it!! My poor car was a mess afterwards because they loved playing in the dirt!! Was freezing because mummy didn't bring a blanket!! Know for next year though.

Old photos but wanted to get them in. This is my son receiving his trophy for rugby. The whole team got little trophies and a gift. I think through the whole season they only lost one game, thier very first game. That game got them so wound up because the other team was rough and it got them angry. It was quite funny.

Here is Payton at one of the last games. This might be the new colours for the next season. This year was red and white. Payton came such a long way from when he first started playing. He slowly got his confidence up and improved!! No tries this year but that's ok plenty of time for that!! He was the only boy on the team who hadn't played before.

Here is the Papatoetoe Under 6's Red team. Well done Payton awesome season!!

Welcome to our world!!

Welcome to our blog. Here's hoping I keep it updated regularly! Here is my family on holiday in Rotorua. Totally loved the resort and we all had so much fun!!

Here are my two beautiful children waiting to go up on the Skyline Gondolas. In this photo Payton is 5 and Tyra-Jade is 2. One of the rare moments they aren't throttling eachother, lol.
Yep this is me and my babe Fritz. Sitting on the chair lifts after a race down on the luge (which I let him win, haha, whatever). We are coming up to 8 years together. Wow, that seems like such a long time!! But it is only the beginning.
Well, that's it for now. My demanding little princess just woke so that means mummy has to sign off.
